Use the arts to share your personal Reflections on this year’s theme: I Matter Because…

Reflections is a National PTA-sponsored program that encourages students to express themselves through the arts. Students can submit work in the following categories: Dance, Music, Literature, Photography, Film Production, Visual Arts, and Special Artist. The art is judged a the school level with the winner in each category moving on to the County level, then District level, State level, and finally National level.

Please carefully review all of the rules and guidelines (English), or rules and guidelines (Spanish) and pay particular attention to the following additional rules:

Dance and Film: if background music is used, citation is required
Literature: include word count, entries must be less than 2,000 words
Music: list musicians and/or instrumentation
Photography and Visual Arts: list dimensions
Dance, Film, Music: recordings must not exceed 5 minutes, file size must not exceed 1,000 MB.

Submissions are due by Friday, October 16. Please use one of the following links to submit your entry. You will be directed to a submission form. Please be ready to provide the following information: Student name, age, and grade; Parent name, phone address; Title of Artwork; Artistic Statement (100 words describing the art and how it relates to the theme).
